Why this project exists
The tests that exist are all excellent at one axis and blind to the rest. Take an attachment quiz and you learn you're anxious. Take a love-language quiz and you learn it's acts of service. Both are true, neither is enough, and neither one tells you why the same fight keeps arriving in a different outfit every few weeks.
The useful information is in the combination. Two people can both be anxiously attached and be almost unrecognisable to each other — one texts the paragraph, the other reorganises your entire life without mentioning it. That difference isn't a footnote. It's most of what daily life with someone actually feels like.
So Love Blueprint measures four axes and crosses them: attachment style, love language, conflict style, and a block of secure-behaviour habits. Twelve types come out the other end, each of which maps cleanly onto vocabulary that already exists — The Firework is the anxious pattern expressed through touch, The Fortress is the avoidant pattern expressed through providing, and so on across the whole grid.
Who makes it
Love Blueprint is run by Yann Grigoriev, a solo founder based in France who built it to help people make better sense of their own patterns in relationships. It is a small independent project, not a company with a research department.
Nobody here is a licensed clinician, and the site never pretends otherwise. What we have is a couple of years of reading the source frameworks properly, a strong dislike of tests that flatter you, and a lot of care spent on the writing. Where the frameworks are contested — the five love languages especially — the methodology page says so instead of quietly hoping you won't ask.
If a licensed professional ever reviews this content, their name and credential will appear next to it. Until then there's no review line, because inventing one would be the exact thing we're trying not to do.
What we believe about this stuff
- There are no bad types. Every one of the twelve has a strength that's genuinely hard to replace and a pattern that costs something. A test that ranks people is a test that's lying to eleven twelfths of them.
- Patterns move. Attachment style isn't a birthmark. It's a set of expectations about closeness, and expectations update with evidence — slowly, unevenly, but they do.
- Precision you haven't earned is a lie. Our rarity percentages are currently seeded estimates, and every page that shows one says so in the same sentence. When the real numbers arrive they'll come with a sample size and a date.
- Your answers are yours. The test is scored in your browser. Nothing you answer is transmitted anywhere, and you don't need an email address to see your result.
How it makes money
The test is free and stays free — all twenty questions, your full type, no email wall, no partial result held back until you sign up.
The paid product is a $29 report: your exact position on all four axes, your triggers with a de-escalation protocol, the full compatibility table from your side, communication scripts, and a 30-day plan. One payment, no subscription. Refunds are straightforward and stated up front.
That's the whole model. We don't sell data — there is no data about you to sell, by design.

Using our data
The distribution figures are free to quote with a link back to the page they came from. Once real numbers replace the seeds, each statistics page will carry the sample size and the date it was current — please quote both, and please don't strip the "self-selected sample" caveat, because it's the part that makes the number honest.
